Support Groups
Blossom Bariatrics offers support groups on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm. The groups are being lead by Bobby Turner, a licensed therapist specializing in eating disorders. She is also a bariatric patient herself, has successful lost over a 150 pounds and has kept it off for over seven years. Her enthusiasm brings the support groups to a new level.

All surgery types and any stage of journey are welcomed at our support groups!

Seminars
Dr. Umbach offers seminars on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm. We encourage people to come explore the world of bariatrics for free and to bring any support members who have questions! The more people who come, the merry the seminars are. Dr. Umbach speaks for about 30 minutes and then opens the floor up for questions. Afterwards, Dr. Umbach stays around to talk to people one-on-one.

Nutrition Class
We are privileged to have Marilyn Anders, of Anders and Dunaway Nutrition Consultants, to present our Nutrition 101 class. She has over 20 years of experience in her field and has been working with bariatric patients for 15 years. The nutrition class is offered every Thursday at 4:30pm.

For those requiring follow-up appointments with Mrs. Anders, she is available by appointment, on Thursdays from 4:00pm to 4:30pm.

Psychological Evaluation
Our Psychological Evaluation is a 14-page questionnaire to be filled out by the patient. Please contact on our office to obtain the Psychological Evaluation Questionnaire.

BPM (Bariatric Practice Manager)
The BPM is an online service provided through Blossom Bariatrics as a way for you to have access to your medical records 24/7. All labs, consults, test results, and correspondences will be available to you through your BPM. 

After the Seminar go to the BPM, create a username and password, then complete the initial medical intake history.  

Once you have created your account you will have full access to you medical records with Blossom Bariatrics, including scheduling appointments, viewing test results, confirming referrals and tracking progress towards surgery.
